Crieff Archery Club Annual Indoor Championships 2014

The Crieff Archery Club held their Annual Indoor Championships in Ardvreck’s Finlay Hall on Sunday 13th April.

The event was well attended with 16 archers competing for the prizes. There was a good variety of shooting styles with a very high standard of shooting.

It was good to see all the different bows on display –compound, recurve, and barebow. The club would like to extend their thanks to Richard Harvey (Headmaster Ardvreck) and Chloe Walker for their support and also allowing the club the use of the hall.

The club members all went for a meal after the tournament at the Gallery Restaurant in Crieff and enjoyed a relaxing evening.

During the day a number of archers recorded personal best scores. A number of novice archers competed and achieved very good scores as well. The compound division was very tight and ended with only one point difference for first and second place.
