Crieff Archery Club 2015 Outdoor Championship 30th August 

Crieff Archery Club held it’s 24th annual outdoor championship at Braidhaugh playing fields on Sunday the 30th August.The weather forecast had been poor but on the day the sun came out and the wind remained light.

There was a good club turn out with both recurve and compound archers competing , the young and the not so young.

The tournament was an “American Round” which consists of 90 arrows shot over 60, 50 and 40 yards with the maximum possible score of 810 points.The club would like to thank Drew Watson and the Crieff Rugby Club for their support and the use of the facilities on the day.

The shooting started at 2 pm with all the archers shooting in a single wave.

Susan Ross whose son Daniel was one of the Junior archers was Lady Paramount on the day and the club would like to thank her for a wonderful job well done.



Emma Borrie as well as winning the lady 1st recurve also shot a personal best with her 682 point score , Well done Emma .

Roisin Butcher presented the Nick Butcher Handicap Trophy to Julie Walker who had a wonderful  competition .
